Pelhrimov is a city in the Czech Republic in the Vysočina region, the administrative center of the district of the same name.

The city was founded in the XIII century. The development of the city was associated with the discovery of silver deposits in its vicinity. Until 1416, the city was the property of the Prague archbishop, during and after the Hussite wars it changed owners many times. In the 1440s, four congresses were held here, with the aim of reconciling the various Christian denominations of the Czech Republic. Since 1596, Pelgrzhimov received the status of a royal city.
