Located on the western shore of Tokyo Bay. It has an annual cargo turnover of 72 million tonnes. The main cargoes are oil, liquefied gas, coal, charcoal, metals, cement, gravel, paper, pulp, marine products, salt and flour. There are also several ship repair and shipbuilding companies with four dry docks and five slipways.
