About the city:
Fribourg in French or Freibourg in German. - The capital of the canton of the same name, located 20 to 30 minutes south of Bern. Nowhere is the Röstigraben border between the German and French parts so strongly felt as in Fribourg (literally the name means "Free City"), where the residents on the west bank speak French and those on the east side speak German.

A large part of Fribourg's population is student, which has brought a mixture of many cultures and a carefree spirit to the city.
